We are just four miles from picturesque Padstow (campsite Padstow), a traditional Cornish fishing village as famous for its ‘Obby Oss’ Mayday celebrations as for its association with internationally renowned chef Rick Stein. Also close by is the historic market town of Wadebridge (campsite Wadebridge) and the stunning natural attractions in the surrounding area.

The Camel estuary is ideal for water-skiing, windsurfing, sailing and boat trips. The Camel Trail is a great favourite and a must for walking and cycling, there are many local hire shops to meet your requirements.

The coastline around Cornwall offers many beautiful walks on the South West Coast Path. Families love the local sandy beaches with lifeguard patrolled swimming areas and rockpools to explore. Horse-riding and golf courses are all within easy reach.

There are plenty of outdoor activities in Cornwall waiting to be experienced, including rock climbing, kite boarding, coasteering and kayaking. Surfing in Cornwall is extremely popular and a surf lesson makes a great family activity.

The Eden Project is a short drive away, as are Newquay Zoo, the Royal Cornwall Museum, Tintagel Castle and Camel Creek Adventure Park.
